This video demonstrates the full system workflow of Smart Clean NYC. It showcases how Waste Collection Pods (WCP) autonomously collect sorted waste from targeted restaurant locations across Manhattan and transport it to Waste Collection Boats (WCB) stationed along the waterfront.

02/ Instructions to Start WCP & WCB Map Simulation
To use the system, simply click on restaurant locations on the map—up to five can be selected. The system will automatically dispatch a WCP from the nearest garage, generate an optimized collection route, and guide the pod to a designated WCB dock for waste transfer and final transport out of the city.
03/Smart Trash Identifier – Restaurant Waste Sorting Assistant
This system is designed for use inside restaurants to assist in real-time waste identification and sorting. Using a built-in image recognition sensor, it helps restaurant staff quickly determine the correct waste category before disposal.
Organic (Green bin & Green bag): Food scraps and kitchen waste
Hazardous (Red bin & Red bag): Batteries, chemicals, etc.
Recyclable (Blue bin & Blue bag): Paper, plastic, bottles
Other (Gray bin & Gray bag): Residual waste not fitting other categories
